If i have to describe my style in one word it would be Basic. I know that's a werid word to use for myself but it's true. I love basics!!
I'm very big into prints and loud designs and it's always a safe bet that my basics are going to look great on me. When I say basics I means solid colors. I love trying different shapes and cuts. I buy all sorts of stuff but usually they end up being either white, black, blue, tan, or grey. It sounds like a boring wardrobe but honestly it can be a lot of fun when you have the Perfect accessories and shoes!!!!!!!
I think my favorite color combos have to be blue and black and white and black. Here I chose to go with a nice dark blue denim Shirt that I got from Old Navy which originally was about $25 dollars but becasue I'm a bargin shopper I got it on sale and paid around $15. I tucked the top in a black leather pencil skirt that I got from Express when the were having their end of season sales. (Always go shopping at the end of the season EVERYTHING is on sale) I really love this skirt for the gold accent zippers and button it.
The tights are from Marshall's and I got them for $7!!!!! What A steal. I know some people are skeptical of fishnet looking tights but I think if you were them with an approriate out it adds some pizzaz to the out. and last but not least the Boots. They're actually rain boots that I bought from DSW. If you don't have a short pair of rain booties go get some now!! they are perfect for those semi-wet/snowy days and they can easily look like casual dress booties.
