#Hairdiversity

I think there is something that we all love about ourselves. It my be your eyes or your legs or maybe even your arms. But for me I'm in love with my hair. I love everything about it I love my natural hair and all the craziness that comes with it. And I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOOOOVVVEEE my protective styles.

My Natural Hair

There's something about rocking my natural hair in it's natural state. People have asked me many times what I use for my hair. Here's the secret I use a lot of natural products. I use coconut oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil. I also ORS mositurizer which I love becasue my hair gets pretty dry and that mositurizer adds a lot back to my hair without weighing it done. I really wish I could wear my fro out more but sometimes that weather isn't condusive the amaziness of my natural fro.

Crochet Braids

These are probably my favorite protective style. The love I have for big hair is indescribable. I love how natural crochet braids look. The process to get this look it fairly simple and you can do it yourself. All you need is some syntheic hair and crochet needle and someone to braid your hair into some simple corn rows. They are really easy to take care of. I apply oils onto to my scalp use a pointed tip applicator . Crochet braids are light and really fun. If I do these again I'm definitely going to get some to braid my hair in a pattern where you won't see the multiple parts from the braids.

The Bun

The simplest thing ever. This is my go to whenever I don't feel like doing my hair or I want that bun. I personally use marley hair to create my bun becasue I think it blends better with my natural hair texture. I literally wore this bun for three days straight.I previously blow dried my hair and then out it back into a ponytail holder and then I wrapped the marley hair around my natural hair bun and secured it with bobby pins. (I used a LOT of bobby pins) I highly suggest that you wave your head around vigorously to make sure it's secure because I've had times where... its fallen off.

The Weave

This can be a touchy topic for some people but I have learned to except the fact that sometimes the hair on my head is not my own and that's okay becasue I love the way it makes me look. There are all different types of weave it all depends on what look you are trying to go for. Nowadays you can even purchase weave that looks like naturally kinky hair which is amazing. People wear weave for all different reasons. I personally wear it as a protective style. It gives my natural hair a rest from me combing through it and drying my hair out by washing it too frequently. My hair definitely grows and retains it's length better when I'm not doing to much to it
