Ins and Outs of DIY Distressed Jeans

Summer times is the best time to really dive into some cool DIY projects. The trend right now is Distressed Jeans and anyone who is anyone is currently rocking them. So I decided that I wanted to pair for myself but I didn't want to pay $50 for a pair of ripped jeans that I could create myself. So that's what I did I created my very own Distressed Jeans and it wasn't hard to do at all!!

Things you Need:

> Thrist store high waist Jeans

> Box cutter

> Cheese Grater

> Magazines

> Washing machine

First things First. go to the the thrit store and find the perfect pair of jeans. I got mine from goodwill for only $4 which is right in my price range.

Then I went out and bought a box cutter and cheese grater at the Dollar Store and drove myself home.

I put the magazines in the pants so that I didn't slice through the jeans. NOTE* do not cut the slices too close to each other becasue it will rip apart in the washing machine. I suggest that you find a picture of how you want your jeans to look it really helped me figure out where to cute.

I'm sure you're wondering when I used the cheese grater... I used them on the back pockets and I literally had to put so much work on them for it start shredding.

After you're done cutting and grating put them in the washing and then AIR DRY them!!!!

Here's the FINISHED PRODUCT!
