STYLE | NAIJA INSPIRED

Let's just skip over the fact that Nigeria is out of the World Cup and what I've heard from the grapevine it was a really sad game. I took these pictures when we all still had some hope.

I really do wish that. I was in Nigeria right now. I would do things differently. I wouldn't have been so hesitant to bring cute clothes. I feel like I'm one of the only people who really enjoyed the African heat. yes, it was absolutely draining but my skin was flawless. Melanin popping from everywhere.

Fun Fact: I used to hate the color green for a little part of my life. I have no idea why. But now I love it.

I have always been a big fan of jumpsuits and rompers since they can on the scene. I feel they look great on tall people. They just elongate everything and who does want to look longer. When I saw this at Target. I fell in love with the print. I have been obsessed with Palm leaves for a while and I was trying to figure out how I was going incorporate them in my life. I went searching for palm leaves...in Kansas City. to put it simply I haven't found them yet.

We all know Target is one of those places that is a mystery. You really never know what you're going to leave with. I had no intention of getting this but I'm really glad I did. It's a very light material which is perfect summer. The contrast of green and white makes the palm leaves really stand out. There is a zip on the back for the lower half. Up top it ties and they is a small opening to show some back without being too much!

I wanted to keep my outfit very warm and simple. I wanted the jumpsuit to stand out so I paired it with caramel sandals from Steve Madden and a Michael Kors Crossbody. I couldn't let the jumpsuit get all the attention so I added some tassel hoops that I also grabbed at Target. The hair came to my that morning and I went with it. I used Heritage 1933 14" Kinky Clip Ins. They are really god -sent!

There you go! Make sure you head over to Target right now to take advantage of the BOGO sale on swimwear https://goto.target.com/c/1195160/489505/2092
